this has probably been mentioned somewhere before but does anyone know how much longer Calderwood's going to be out? i can't really remember when he got injured but was supposed to be out for 6-8 weeks initially.

Last I heard he won't be back anytime soon, could still be on the sidelines for some time.

damn shame. we miss his pace and strong running.

I spoke to him not so long ago and he said he’d be back in ‘two weeks’. That would make it this weekend



Whether that meant he was back in full time training, or back to being available for selection I’m not sure.

IIRC he was injured against Bradford which was almost 10 weeks ago

Not sure I would say that is Calderwoods best attribute.

i suppose he isn't the fastest winger on the planet, but having him back means Whiting can move to a better position. as good as Whiting is, he's not got enough pace. maybe using him as Calderwood's inside centre??





Whiting would be a much more reliable centre than Hall IMO. a player with a good rugby brain and who isn't afraid to go into a tackle full-pelt.
