I disagree. He's just a steady player, nothing special. We have enough of those to spare one or two.

He has had by far, more good games than bad. You all have very short memories.



Along with Mcmenemy he has been one of our best players for a long time.

I will rephrase this, He wont be missed in our current set up. On his day he is a good second rower however we dont have the coaches or tactics to get the best out of him.



Also good to see him go as he is rumoured to be one who doesnt place rugby high on his list of priorities, or is this just cause he is at Hull.



Im sure under Smith he will go on and probably play for England.

Reading between the lines I dont think the board had much choice, he wanted to relocate nearer to his home in Wigan.

Cant please everybody with signing or retention of players. The team needs a shake up and lets face it, he has been ordinary for a long while now. Sometimes as a supporter you need to back the club with things like this. Also how is this a board choice? surly its the choice of the coach initially, with the players he brings in to replace those leaving?



Im neither bothered if he stays or goes. Doeesnt say alot about the player then.

He was great in 2007 and shows glimpses of that form now and again but I'm not too upset at him leaving. With Fitzgibbon coming in, Burnett developing nicely and perhaps another player coming in we can cope without him. Fitzy is a great goalkicker and there will be other options, such as Long.



I can see Tickle being a success at Warrington, mind.

He'll go great at wire with a coach who knows how to rotate his forwards properly during a game. If it's for personal reasons it's understandable. Always remember his 2 tries at donny last year and his conversion that (briefly) put us in front at Wembley. Good luck danny

If its for family reasons well fair play to him. But, I find the attitude of some of you folks a bit hard to understand. yes he has had some good games and is a good goal kicker, OK, I will miss him because he is an institution in our team now, but come on, we all know why he is going, he is the first possibly of many, we need a revolution, and you cannot call for a clear out and then complain when it happen's!!
