As the title suggests do you buy into the theory that our negative tactics are down to the standard of the squad or like me do you think that we have players who can play a more expansive and entertaining game?

Pretty much most of the kids who come through the ranks, from our club or others, are used to a more expansive game, so yes, we do have the players who can play it. Do we have the players who can exploit it at this level? Perhaps...

Yes the squad is capable it's just the coaching staff that arn't

Sounds like it was more 2/3 drives and a knock on today. Strange that this question wasn't asked last week.

Said the same the last time we lost, there's no way in hell Kear tells his players to play e. From what I can see, they have the skill to play a more expansive game and sometimes show it but it's not about 5 drives and a kick, it's about, knock on after knock on, penalty after penalty,mistake after mistake, which doesn't give them the confidence, to play this exciting rugby, that's being demanded by some people, in fact when they play poorly they struggle to even get to the 5th tackle.

I also don't think for one moment, Kear asks them to play 5 drives and a kick, there's no doubt though, he asks them to play a more structured, simpler game than most the top sides. I'm sure if one of these young players wants to show some flair on the pitch, why don't they go for it, surely most things like that is instinctive and what ever is planned before, you play what is in front of you.

Kear has to take some of the blame for poor performances but from what I can see, the players are as much to blame. I'm not sure if it's because it's a young side with a few old heads thrown in but just lately, when things go wrong they go to pieces, especially when they start poor.

Yes they are capable. The warm ups included all sorts of moves including dummy runners & inside balls, but it seems that JK doesn't want them to put what they practice into action when it really matters!!!

its time for a change its all about coaching the knock on's as stuff are all part of the game and always will its how you reach to them that counts and the structures and organisation of the team is all to c*ck no matter how much people dress it up any more its dire...4 times we where attacking yesterday and the ball ended up in a prop's hands where a second rower/centre should be no dummy runners run rounds cut out passes and they can do cos they where doing in at the beginning of the season we even had korki passing bradford for instance... then again to rub salt into the wounds l get home from london to watch 3-4 of our ex players running around with the freedom they need to be good players that they never got at wakey ferguson, grix, blanch, millard its not good enough any more and l for 1 am sick of seeing it poor poor poor time to change and show the rfl what we can do before we finish BOTTOM rant over.....!!

I also think this squad is capable of playing a more open type game.



However if it isn't and it is just a 5 drives and a kick mob, then you should question the man who

was responsible for recruitment.

Yeah because the man responsible for recruitment squandered the copious amount of money he had to spend and turned down all those international quality players that were banging down the door literally begging to play for us.



I agree that the 'game plan' is dull but that was all forgotten last week when we were praising JK and the team for grinding out a win.

A more structured simpler game imo is another term for 5 drives and a kick and I don't think for one minute that the forwards decide what tactics they are going to employ before every match, that will be down to the coach, so if Mr Kear has asked them to play a simplified game that will mean 5 drives and a kick in any fancy rl jargon. i would ask you just one question, do you think that all these young players we have brought in from various academies' like Wigin,Saints,Wire,Leeds, and KR etc were brought up on 5 drives and a kick personally I very much doubt it.
