Looks like WTW owe the tax man big ££££ and have reached a agreement to pay off the amount in a repayment plan, imo...

The chances are it will mean that rather than pay a lump sum to the tax man, we will have agreed installments to ease cashflow.



In some ways it can be seen as a positive that we have made a nice amount of money - hence why our tax bill would be bigger.



As my father always says "dont moan about paying more tax, it just means you are earning more!"

Not another sports club spending tax money rather than paying Her Majesty? Not the first, and won't be the last - but something which should be avoidable for all.

Never saw solo or ellis money we wouldn't see any foreseeable sale of playing asset's.

Of course you saw the Ellis and Solomona money - we still have a club and we're still in SL aren't we? On the gate money and other revenues we get we do pretty damn well!

So without them we wouldn't have survived and if we need the brough money we must be in the proverbial, anyway I don't want to detract from the original post, why aren't we paying what we owe? do we have incompetent staff by the sounds of it its not just a few quid its a hefty sum...

We don't NEED the Brough money - only if a deal can't be done and WE feel that it's best for our club.



We are paying what we owe, as agreed with HMRC, that's what it says in the statement and that's what's happening - although it is disappointing that we were clearly a little behind the schedule at one point.
