Indeed. And rightly so to have those kind of contracts in those days.

Think he said he got away with a better contract because they mistakenly kept him on an AN Other contract when he made it to reserves and first team.

Said he played a couple of years with only a verbal contract I think.

Contracts just weren't thought about in those days like they are now.

I believe it’s true. However how is that a reflection on the club? These deals are common place. Mountains and molehills yet again.

I think the implication is that the club won't play him because of the money.

They have already played him against Catalans

Sorry should have made it clearer. I’ve heard there is some issue not sure what it is. But I suspect it’s one of those blown out of all proportion.



MC is tight but not dishonest and Shaw will get whatever he’s entitled to and will play if WP wants him too.



These stories always rear there head after a bad defeat.

Exactly. I don't think there is an issue at all. It's just made up gossip.

Watched Issac a few times (on tv obviously) including his 1st team debut earlier this season and been very impressed on each occasion… I think he’s talented enough to be in the starting 17 on a regular basis very soon.

There definitely was one but I’ve no idea what it was or how serious. I actually got it from someone who isn’t into RL but knows the family well. He’s absolutely no agenda which is why I give it some creedence but as I say owt or nowt.

Not this season but maybe next. It’s a big step up.
