God that was dire got to improve massively if we want to win GF

Perhaps the occasion overshadowed what was on the pitch - shame that, especially if there were some new fans in attendance...

That was a truly awful performance. But i guess we cant be at our best every week, and we did win. We missed barlow, today shows how important he is to us. Plus points a great crowd, plus seeing all our ex players.

I must admit it was lacklustre at times but I really don't think the ref helped with the way he managed the play the ball. Worky were allowed to slow it right down.

One positive from the game was that we seemed to be trying out a couple of new moves. fair enough they didn't come off most of the time but today was a chance for the lads to try them out against real opposition as opposed to on the training ground. If we have a couple of new tricks up our sleeve for the play offs we'll be reet

How many times did we drop the ball ?I lost count , a few weeks ago I said after a few lack lustre games someone would cop it ,and we tonked Rochdale Fev , and Swinton , it will happen again , Worky are not a bad side , they have shown that in the past , the game was far from a Classic , but still 3 points earned , bring on the Boyos , then the play-offs .

Well I don't normally criticise refs but todays was terrible and regarding holding down in the tackle my god he was shocking.



Leigh's passing and handling was dire too and it was not an entertaining game was it ?

Frank , a wins a win , we got the 3 points , nowt else matters , the ball was very greasy , as it was for Worky , but we play better in dry conditions , I thought Brierley has a decent game , along with Tom Armstrong , not a bad crowd either .See you tomorrow .

How bad are the worky fans

they where cheering a bp . I was sat next to one who was dressed as a nun with a mouth like a pit man I had to move as I had my little lad with me must be a sad season when you are happy with a bp...

Not when that BP saves you from relegation!

Well I do not condone the bad language but that bonus point keeps them in the Championship next season.



I thought their fans supported their team with enthusiasm and they were well behaved (despite the swearing). They do dress funny though.

And of course leigh fans dont swear.
