we lost by 4 points, Sheffield won there by 4 points. Hardly an embarrassing result. Though if we beat Haven, and get Sheffield in the semi's, we won't be going to Halifax. At the moment missing Riddy, Brierley, Parker and Aspinwall.

I know our backs lack pace....but we are still one of the best sides in the division.

Get a fully fit squad and we can win the NRC and GF.........Without Riddy and Brierley we will struggle to play to our full potential.....we aint far off with our HB`s missing.

IMO we will beat Haven with Greg and Beswick at HB after 2 losses in a row.....lads will be up for it next week.

not bothered about todays result, feel sorry for our fans who made the long trip to Worky, but NEXT WEEK is what matters.

I am more bothered especially as fev got beat that should have been a two point gain on them in the table. Have we won since the new BOM took over?

We lost today to a rubbish team and we were twice as rubbish. Bob was back to his predictable self. Penky needs to be dropped if you ask me. So does Jonny and Stu. Tommy G has even gone off the boil. There was something wrong out there again. We will loose by 30 points next week if we carry on playing like today. The full back position needs sorting imediately bacause Jonny doesn't look like he wants to be on the field.

Guess, I meant not 'too bothered' about not picking up 3 points. BUT if I had been at the game, and at one point losing 26-10 to lowly Workington....that is dire.

We have NO (apart from Brierley & Pownall) pace in the backs, too much one man rugby/inside ball etc

We were lucky to come away with a bonus point because that in its entirety was the game plan as far as I could see.



We are obviously missing Ridyard and Brierly but offensively we are unimaginative and lack any creativity to unlock most defences.



Beswick is a very good hooker at this level but never a 7. Where's Coyle these days? Beswick needs to stay at 9 no matter what, even if it means Penky partnering McNally at Half Back.



I don't know where Pownall was for Shaun Briscoe's opening try, and he was all at sea for the try conceded early in the second half also. He needs to work on his positioning if he is going to stake a claim for a regular full back shirt as suggested. He is only a young lad though and he will learn.



Whilst Hopkins and Spencer are bang on top of their games, we have far to many players enduring lean spells for me and they need to raise their hands.



However my biggest concern is our game plan which is predictable, boring and pants.



Despite the close scoreline, Leigh were easily second best to Workington today.

Budge , you are right about the lack of pace in our backs ,and the one man rugby and the Infamous Inside Ball ,our forwards did try today , when McNally move back to Full Back it did change the game about , and Penkys grubber kicks today just didn't come off , hopefully we will beat Haven next week , but Charlie is taking nothing for granted these days .

I'm sure that the new BOM will make the necessary decisions next season to ensure that we are in the best position possible to achieve our goal of SL
