Say what you like but if it is found that Danny McGuire has no injury then he and his coach should get lengthy bans for attempting to dishonestly alter the outcome of a game. After the game McClennan said that something happend after the incident suggesting McGuire was crocked but on replay it just showed Tomkins running over to him. If McGuire is injured I will apologise but if not this game has absolutely no place for football style cheats and they should be drummed out. A good game of rugby league could have been tarnished by this.

And if he is injured i'm afraid its just deserts ,he cheated no other word for it

I agree, he went to ground because he knew he'd taken Carmont out and didn't want to receive any kind of come back from the referee. It seems they didn't penalise that incident anyway but he didn't seem to be hurt as he was watching everything that was going on.

From what i gathered they were both penalties so the ref chose the one nearest to the sticks ,what he should have done {my opinion} is give Wigan a kick right in front of the sticks for CHEATING

My very 1st thoughts were that he was faking an injury! And if he wasn't then he got his just deserts for cheating and probably stopping a certain try! Wouldn't surprise me if there is bugger all wrong with him tho!

Course he is a cheat ,thats how he got injured ,if he hadn't have blatantly pulled back the Wigan player then he would be fine and probably on the losing side to boot
