I have seen lots all year, far better than Watson, who should be at 9.

Defence is fine, it looked worse when Maden and Reay were around him.

Thought he had a good game and will only get better.......

No - but he is a key player and will stand out more than others if he is slow / passes badly / makes the wrong decision etc.

Pleased for the lad. I think the intention was for him to be h/b cover, for Watson and the stand off that never appeared - and that, in my opinion, has been what has cost us so dearly!

I have been a critic of his tackling but he had his best game in a Leigh shirt today.

There's no doubting he's slow, he's still the third highest try scorer at the club though! Unfortunately his brain is far too quick for the players he's been asked to lead!
