Just as the RFL say they are revisiting all the clubs that have promised new stadia for 2010/2011, out 'leaks' news from a couple of said clubs. Noticed on the Wakefield board a thread started a few days ago re rumours of new stadium information about to be released. This coming on the back of Mr Wilkinson at Salford turning on his tape machine to give the same announcement he has given several times before that work will start in 6 months and they are still on track for October 2010.

| will belive it when the steel work starts going up the same as i did when ours started to be built.
To be honest i cant see any team playing in a new stadium out of the current superleague clubs that dont have one by the time 2011 comes round
Let see how fast the RFL move the goalposts on that one.
Also anyone fancy a bet that the Credit Crunch is used as an excuse and therefore will make all promises of a new stadium nul and void and are given a further 3 years to build apropriate stadia  |

Nothing but admiration for the longevity of this whinge people.
Even Widnes' fans (who had cause to feel aggrieved) seem to have given up, but I see the Leythers are made of different stuff: Old, tired, used, repetitive, dull, anything-to-take-my-mind-off-my-own-club stuff. Long may it continue.
