How people can have a pop at Watson is beyond me?

He has never had pace. If he did he would have played for GB!!

Ridyard and Watson should have been 6 and 7 all season!

Played well last week and stepped up to the plate today.



As Alan says, I think he was only brought in as back-up this year so has played a lot more first team than maybe first envisaged. That said, it should stand him in good stead ahead of what I imagine will be a regular first team spot next year.

B****x. Watson is the reason we are in this position as he doesn't let younger more talented players have the opportunity to express themselves.

Hemmingway gave him an earful and started to produce with confidence. Ridyard today proved he is more than capable of guiding the team around the pitch with Jock and Durbin. Plus his kicking game is far better.

In future seasons we will see what I mean. Just wait till Watson has gone and you will realise how bad he is. I remember being at Blackpool last year in NRC and he was terrible with young Ryan Powell playing alongside him getting no confidence whatsoever.

Funny how the reserves can entertain us with no Watson in the team!!!

Well he took his try superdly today and I'm all for local talent being given the chance!! Hope it did his confidence the world of good! he dropped a couple o balls fair doos but had his best game so far and his kicking was good especially from penalties! Superb yards made! Keep it up!

You have obviously got used to watching average players. Watch any other team in this division and their halves are quicker , smarter and alot better at kicking their teams around the paddock than Watson ever has. He is S**t simples !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As regards Watto, just ask opposion Coaches,Players,Directors and Fans for their opinions and, me!

Mate if other players, directors, coaches and fans think he is so good then why isn't he playing for their team. Simple !! They know he isn't good enough. He has produced next to nothing for Leigh and other than a couple of occasions when he has lost his rag, looks to have no pride in the shirt.

If he plays next weekend and has a great game I will be the first person to hold my hands up and give credit where it is due. Unfortunately I have now become used to watching him slowly distribute the ball and telegraphing passes and executing a kicking game we were coached out of at Under 14's.
