With Sykes likely playing in the halves this year, Platt would be my first choice right centre, providing we aren't signing anyone for the position.



If Platt IS leaving though (and take rumours on a forum with a pinch of salt), we surely MUST be bringing in at least 2 or 3 backs?

Platt has been playing quite well at centre..at first it wasnt his cup of tea..but since hes learnt it a bit he has impressed me there.

I thought he had a decent game against Hull in the last game of the season. He'd probably benefit by having a winger who is more defensively sound outside him though and not the turnstyle Sheriffe is

Well Salford certainly have the money, but Platt still has quite a long time left on his contract (2 years?) so I can't really see why they would want to spend the cash on someone who probably isn't worth it

i don't think we'd command much (if any) of a transfer fee.
