Any truth in the rumours were getting him on a months loan?

Well, if we're gonna persist with an ineffectual half back partnership, he needs to play.

We have a lad called gore coming through, very good player but not getting game time. We've had Mellon and Obrien here and from what I hear lee will be here next. Idrather give our lads a chance but Gaskell is a quality player who will no doubt add to our squad

Might be Wigan bound at the end of the season!

I'm very dissapointed at the way Gaskell's been treated - he gave his all last season and could have a great future.



I rate him and think he needs game time most of all.

If he goes to Wigan I may just have a moderation break down and ban myself.

I have always rated Gaskell and have always thought he was a better half back prospect than Lomax with a much better all round game for that position. I cant see Saints letting him go and certainly not to Wigan.

Really, given our recruitment recently it would be par for the course.

Could it be that the saints coaching staff know he's leaving at the end of the season and thats why he aint getting a game may not be the case but just a thought.

Well I really hope not! Does anybody know when his contract is up?

I'm a huge Gaskell fan and have said for a while I believe he's a better 'halfback' then Lomax. I can't see him being allowed to go to Wigan if he's under contract but I can't see how the lad can be satisfied with playing u20's at the moment.
