| Sorry if this has already been answered in other threads but where do you all think we will finish in the table this year?

6th. Behind Wigan, Wire, Huddersfield, Leeds and Catalans. Hopefully infront of Hull but quite probably not so maybe 7th. If we're to finish top 4 I'd say we can afford a maximum of 4 more defeats this season and we've still got to play Wire, Leeds and Wigan home and away.

| May be a bit harsh that actually. huddersfield finished 4th losing 11 games last year but with leeds, Hudds and Catalans all improving I'd still think that 9 defeats may not be enough to get us there.

| 7th I reckon. We won't win many away games this season, that is what will cost us. Everyone bar Widnes and Broncos will fancy themselves to beat us at their place this season.

| Difficult to say yet. Even if we lose the next three games (I'm hoping to come away with at least two points from them though) I still think we'll be more than capable of reaching fifth. Fourth might be hard because Leeds have brought their 'A' game right from the off, Huddersfield have had a tendency to fade but are looking good, Warrington save their failure until later in the season and Wigoon should be okay as long as Tomkins stays fit.

So you completely discount Catalans and Hull? Both are clearly better sides than Saints at the moment.

| Think you may lift for the Wigan game, Might get a win there the way they have been letting in points recently, 30 against london and 37 against Widnes.

No not really but if we play to our potential (nobody in their right mind can tell me either team has a better squad than our's) we can catch them. Catalans may well finish in the top four but it's a bit early to be stating such things when we've seen better teams than Catalans and Hull fade in the second half of the season before. Hull look significantly better than under Agar but even then it's their first season under the new coach so expecting them to break into the top four is a lot.

| Long way to go yet etc. and all depends on whether the new guys are up to the job or not. New Manager Syndrome will carry us to more wins over the next few weeks than most people will be expecting (I'd put money on wins against Leeds and the Pies if I were in any way a betting man) but ultimately we'll likely be a bit inconsistent and unpredictable thereafter. I'd be more than happy with 6th and we'll need a slightly better than 50/50 win/loss ratio over the rest of the season to do it, and we [ishould[/i be able to pull that off without too much difficulty...
What odds a team being crowned SL Champions from 6th just a year after the "once in a lifetime freak event" of someone doing it from 5th? Now THAT would put the cat among the veritable pigeons, eh?

I know you're trying a troll but which team has lost 5 grand finals on the bounce?
