| I think we've made the right decision - with the pack we've got ready for next year, Bryn would have played less than Fozz has this year.
I think losing Emmitt is a bigger risk than Bryn.

| 17 months without a try, then he scores 2, we cannot accept that sort of player... he had to go
Wish Brian all the best, never let us down, been a hit with the players and coaching staff, the fans took to him, he has a fine choice in Holiday destinations, he has been re-named as Brian, got given the name "mad dog" by Longy, and can play a guitar better than any other prop ! Bradfords best buy of the off season !

| Bryn has done a good job for saints since he came, he's never let saints down.
With perry, jammer, tony p, lms and clough covering as are main props i can see why saints have let him go as we have the SC to abide by, we can't use all the cap on props.
I think letting emmitt go is a very very big mistake, ireally rate him.

| Agree, he does a good solid job for us. However, its all about balancing the salary cap. We got Josh Perry in something has to give.
In Emmitt's case I believe Cas have doubled his money.

I think emmitt has all the tools to be top class prop, i'd have rather lost one of our backrows to keep him.
I just hope jake ain't one of them players that leave big clubs and drift off into the lower leagues.

Most decisions prove to be good ones by Saints even when most of the fans dont think so.
Maybe letting Smith go was a mistake though

| I don't think we will miss Bryn as our pack for next year looks like the strongest for some time. Also the likes of Dixon is stepping up to Bryn's level and should surpass it.
As for Emmit and Smith going:
Emmit could have stayed but given the depth of the pack for next season obviously saw an opportunity to move and play regular rugby at a decent club, no doubt a wage increase helped sway it as well. I don't believe we should be breaking the bank to keep hold of younger players on the back of a few decent games, however it is a shame players like emmit have to move on.
In regards to Smith, hindsight is a wonderful thing, I have no doubt that if we could have predicted Kyle's body would turn into Angel Delight we have kept Smith. However out of the two and injury free Kyle was always going to be the more outstanding talent.
All in all I think we have done what is right
