dont get me wrong the game was much needed and it was a very good game with a cracking brawl and the better team won. what is upsetting me is the fact it was the 2nd team not the third team i mean for god sake the 2nd team coach was running the touch line there own speccies comfirmed the fact it was there 2nd team.there in the 1st div for a reason and were in the 4th for reason completely differant standard and to think there 3rd team prob wont win another game this season es me off royal.thats all am gonna say on the matter now as it is in the hands of nwc were the points and punishment go..thankfully are season is still in our hands.

In short it's unfair but thats the NWC lot for you. I'm still bemused by the rules they seem to selectivily apply to teams. I'm presuming that next year St Maries will get a spot in the prem or 1st division , it might be fair but it's better than the other option of sticking them in a lower division where they beat most teams by cricket scores like happened to us at Hindley

I hope they play there second team against us

i dont think theres any point them being in this league

they should of worked there way through the leagues like most teams have to but it is obvious that some teams in the nwc get special treatment. Us at hindley had to fold for a season when we were in div1 and had to start of again in div 6. Fair enough. Then you get new teams like thatto 3rds put into div4 and orrell who have conceeded games for the last 3 years n still in div2. I think it could work against thatto in the long run because they have got a new team playing against some very good teams in div4 and could destroy confidence struggling every week.

some very good teams, you must be joking, must be one of the weekest leagues for years with plenty teams already dropped out. i bet thatto 3rds didnt get much choice, was probably join 4th division cos teams already dropped out or play friendlies all season with about 2 free teams available to play. there was an equal amount of teams in 5th an 6th div so no room for anyone.



poor old hindley having to drop down to bottom div cos they couldnt handle it in a high division.

no problem dropping down divisions mate but it seems some teams work to different rules that others. In fact it has made hindley stronger and hopefully a team that will stick together for the next 10 years and work there way through the divisions. In fact we were turned down a place in div 6 for our 2nd team so shows how far we have come from having 6 training a week to over 40 players signed on due to late entry which is fair enough.
