I'd say brining a 2nd hooker in is an area to strengthen for next season for you guys.

I agree. Next year will be Fisher's last and I'd like to see a quality hooker brought in to rotate with Fish and play beyond 2010.

There's no denying how well we are doing, but to consistently keep up with the Leeds and Saints of this world, you only have to flip it on its head and think who would walk into their sides. At this moment in time I think Fox and Galea would.

Fox because he's an English winger and Galea because he is one of the most talented back rowers in SL.



Suppose it just shows for me how much of a force Leeds and Saints are still.

Given it's our 3rd year in Super League I don't think we're doing too bad!

Now Rovers are spending close to the cap and have built a true SL squad, it is about making the best of what you have got, more than bringing in top players. To sign a big-earner you have to release a big-earner. Leeds and Saints are the top teams as much, or more IMO, because they are the best collectives. They have top players, but they are made to look even better because of the familiarity and fluency of the team. Continuity, with just one or two good signings from outside the club each year is the way to [imaintain[/i a squad.

we do have talent across the field i totally agree, i do think galea is relied on to much though.

having seen a lot of reserve games this season, scott spaven looked pretty sharp at hooker, good scooting runs, has a few more years to learn the ropes.

Been touched upon but ground improvements are vital to attract more away support. 8000 home fans is great but with more teams bringing 1500/2000 supporters it will make a big difference to to the coffers.

you serious? imo fitz is a waste of an overseas spot.

it would be good to see some top quality youngsters coming through the ranks in the next couple of years,

the stadium expansion is gonna be hard to pull off right now due to the finacial down turn, but cant be put on the back burner, it needs sorting and soon IMO.
