If the RFL grew some balls and said in 2011 there will be only one Aussie/Kiwi/PNG/Frencie allowed in each team then SL clubs would have to play youngsters.



Hull could nearly do it now, as could a couple of other clubs, but the comp would not suffer in excitment terms, only skill levels perhaps for the first season or so.



If you watch the Thursday night Championship games I am sure you will agree most are really good games and exciting. There aint many Aussies kicking about in those games except the Gateshead cheaters or whatever they are called now.



It really annoys me, and plenty of other people in the game, that young kids are forced to play in a meaningless Reserve comp or go back to Amateur in order to play every week when there are overpaid Aussies taking their place.

from what i heard at before the start of last season was he turned rovers down because he had to be better than jake and chev and not welham hes a good local played might as well sign him up to build our local players up.

I rate him quite highly as a player but yet what is always mentioned is his poor defending which hasn't improved notably since he broke onto the scene in 2007.



However when it comes to going forward and attacking flair he's top drawer imo and could prosper under a generally more expansive brand of rugby that HKR are playing this season. He's not got a fair crack of the whip from Agar since he became coach and under JM Craig Hall could do very well I think. Although he is British though so Justin may be reluctant to sign him.

Strange comment as our last pre season recruitment was Fozzard,Wheeldon,Colborn and Esders along with Spaven getting a deal.
