apparently hes signed 2yr contract from next season onwards.... next year to get his defence upto speed, then to take over from Webster when he leaves.

Would be a terrific signing for you despite the mixed opinion.



But with him being contracted to us, Agar finally waxing lyrical about him and his undoubted talent, it would be a sizeable tranfer fee.

Pretty sure he signed a deal at Hull a few months back.

I think he signed a two year extension last year, so he's OOC at the end of next season.

wonder if its for next season then, as Webster will more then likely be going back home then and will be another tick for a Bristish player.



I personally would want to see a vast improvement on his defencive skills before we would take him on, but his stats speak for themselves when hes attacking.

Since coming back from Widnes his defence has been spot on. Not going anywhere for the forseeable future either, according to the player himself.





Im not even going to mention Rovers envy of our players, think these rumours every summer speaks for itself.

Its not really envy though is it Dave? Justin simply identifies people within your organisation that he feels would strengthen ours so brings them to Craven Park.

I dont think that anybody could disagree that we are stronger for having Briscoe, Cooke, Wheeldon, Mallinson, Dunn and Chester at the club.

It really isnt a case of envy or getting one over your club.

You must realise that by constantly looking at our organisation for personnel to improve yours is a back handed compliment though?

Good point, and I think everyone can agree that Hull are weaker for not having those people at the club.

I think your comment sums up the thoughts of Hull fans. Yes you can strengthen your organisation by bringing people in but why then comment on the relative strength of Hull FC on the back of this? Surely it is of no concern?
