Happy if this signing comes off, cleaver player, who has a good kicking game, think he will play the 7 role though.



For it to work we need a runner like Chase, hopefully this will come off, but if it doesn't I hope the club have a back up plan as I don't think Seymour and Holdsworth would work that well.

Players leaving we've got manu,turner,sharp,martin,moa,omeley,lyne,burnett,pearce,tickle(looking very like),seymour(probably),horne(maybe).Then any money left over from mckinnon,ocarrol and ellis.

Think there a bit of money to play with there!!

I reckon Manu, Moa, O'Meley, Seymour, McKiinnon (rumored to be the highest player at the club) & Tickle were/are on a decent wedge all senior players, add to that a few more who are leaving, I believe we have a fair whack to pay for some quality replacements tbh.

A few of those won't be in the top 25 anyway and we've brought in Watts and Pitts.



If we sign the right players, England and Knights squad members, we could add 100k to our cap.

TBH, I think that the signing of Chase would suggest an end to our split halves days, regardless of who we're planning on pairing him with. I just don't see him sticking to one side of the pitch, it's not the way he plays and he's the sort of player where you should just let him play the way he does or why bother signing him?

That's what i'd do but I saw what happened when McNamara played him for England.

But McNamara's a numpty.



I think the problem with England is that they're trying to get Chase to play a different game to what he's used to in order to play with Sinfield, and it simply doesn't work, it's too rigid. With Holdsworth as the first receiver and Chase just doing what he wants I think it could work well, and would also produce the kind of rugby I favour watching. Good news all round for me if we get them.

Holdsworth and McGoldrick would be a great combination.
