1 off ugly win versus our 1 off pretty win in 3 seasons!!

So if we had played pretty rugby all season up to now and carried on doing so without winning a game you'd be happy with that?? Or would you be moaning and asking for Agar's head??



It's a results game and for me I didn't have to 'tolerate' anything in the first 5 games because we won em all!!

there has to be a happy medium somewhere, and with no relegation you'd hope that teams would favour attractive rugby more than grinding results out.



at the moment we are in danger of losing a lot of passholders for next season, as we simply aren't good to watch and haven't been consistently since 2006 (apart from that run at the end of 2007) people gave them another chance after 2008 but little has improved, and before anyone says we don't need these passholders to renew, they are a vital source of income for the club, not just in the passes themselves but also merchandise sales.

People were saying pass sales would fall this season and I'm fairly sure people were saying the same for 2008.

Wire ground out results without bothering about performance and look what happened there, they've stopped scraping wins and get trounced by good sides. We're heading the same way. Performance and results should go hand in hand.

i think it was the last chance saloon for a lot of people, i myself aren't really enjoying games if I'm being honest because that belief that we can become a top side has gone. More importantly we have a lot of junior passholders (something like 3,000 i believe) kids are very impressionable, and i can't imagine they are impressed with our recent 5 drives a kick displays.

they've also lost some support, been getting 7,000 most weeks, whereas it was 11/12,000 before, because the hype has gone...the same will happen at our club i fear.

used to Love rugby and look forward to the game coming up, now its a case of if im working so be it,

Me too. And by performances I don't necessarily mean playing fast-flowing, entertaining rugby all the time (although that would be nice).



Watching a side that looked 100% committed, 100% of the time would be a great start as far as I'm concerned. The champagne rugby can come after the attitude problems have been sorted.
