Absouloute waste of a qouta spot signing overseas wingers. Qouta places should be reserved for players who can add something extra to the whole team game that our clubs dont produce in the academys for example creative halfbacks, hookers and ball handling centres and fullbacks or explosive impact forwards. Our style of play doesnt warrant expensive qouta spot wingers. The youth should be given a chance in this area as it is one position our club has an abbudance of willing youth, lynn,tuffour, jack briscoe plus an english signing from sl or championship.

what you will find is that contrary to popular belief, young bric is quite happy on the wing!!

If meli is one of the form players in SL then I'm sure saints will do everything to keep him so the point is irrelevant anyway. As it is, I doubt they'll offer him the 2 year contract we probably would. How good do you think he will be at the end of the 2012 season?

Meli would be a good signing IMO. Our "exit sets" would improve and Reece can cover the 6 or 7 seven games a season he might miss through injury and ease his way into the team over the next 2 season. He'd also be good cover at Centre and add some experience to the backline. It's a win win situation for me. If anything bringing in someone like Will Sharp will actually hinder the development of Reece more than bringing Meli in.
