Sounds like I made the right decision not going tonight, what would have cost me 50 quid with petrol and a ticket. No sour grapes here because I didnt see the game but it seems fairly typical of whats going on with refs, and not just supporters of our club. Shoot me down all you want but I do actively look at the ref for our games and if its Childs, Ganson or Silverwood I seriously consider my spending power. Surely this isn't the way it should be, The sad thing is I know for a fact I'm not alone.

Apparently Matterson has complained about the ref too, so if both coaches have complained the RFL shouldn't be able to fine either of them, but it depends on what Agar actually said too.



But the thing is with Childs, he's a crap touch judge so who thought he would make a good ref?

All I can say is Huby, Jackson etc. must be fresh as daisies. All those metres gained without having to do anything. Childs was bad for Cas and abysmal for Hull. He lost control of the game big time, his incompetence led to the frustration that got to both players and boiled over. In all my years watching RL I've never seen a worse performance, even at amateur level. Shocking.

As stupid as it sounds I have to agree he has come on in leaps and bounds, credit were credit is due to Halibut

The thing is Cummings and co know he's not good enough because they've had him at touch judge for most of this season.



People pay £23 to go watch a game rugby and tonight a game that could have been very good was ruined by that complete idiot.

I have been watching Rugby League for over 35 years and I have honestly never seen a refereeing display as bad as that. He spoiled what started out being a very good match; thunderous tackling and some quality play from both sides. He lost control of the match after 10 mins, the players were as frustrated as the fans.

You had Phelps and Chase throwing the ball at the floor in temper and the likes of Fitz and Long screaming at him.

Same i was honeslty in shock with what i saw and as Easthullfcfan said he was bad for Cas but shocking for us, and in the end cost a game that IMO we would of shaded other wise.

The unfortunate thing is that there are not enough refs so he won't be dropped,he certainly left me baffled with some of his decisions.All the fan's want is consistency by the man in the middle and after seeing that display we got a very sub standard performance.
