Now would be a perfect time to appoint a new coach imo. Its some sort of an unwritten rule in sport that appointing new coaches usually brings good short-term results at least, and with a period of 4-5 approaching that are all very winnable, I think making a move now would be ideal. If we were to bring a new coach in and we went on to win the next 4 games, we would be in a great position league wise and the disappointment of the challenge cup would be forgotten imo. Of course I know for a fact that this isnt going to happen, but it's just my opinion anyway. Agar is totally inept as a coach, his tactics are dire, his ability to motivate the players is questionnable to put it politely, and his attitude is far too defeatist for my liking, GET RID!

Quite frankly I think we are still going backwards on the field under Agar, nice guy he maybe but he certainly is not getting the best out of what he has available by a long way. For me time has already proved he is not up to the job of head coach in SL, good assistant he maybe be but head coach NO.



The Board have some serious thinking to do as we are well into the season, form is scratchy putting it mildly, we are now out of the cup and have suffered two thumping defeats by Leeds who themselves had been struggling early doors. The reason for the serious thinking is that with the quota being reduced next year it is very unlikely the club will make any top class overseas signings for next season what can they do to attract a fanbase to renew its passes that is rapidly growing disillusioned by what is not happening on the field?

For me the only option is a change of Head Coach, but whether that will happen only time will tell.



Agar has had time enough now for the team to be showing signs of improvement, much was made of him getting the preseason training started early but we are steadily getting worse in most departments.



Massive mistake giving the guy a 2 year deal when he hasnt proved he is up to it or quite frankly when he hasnt bl00dy earnt it.

Did he not mean at the end of his contract rather than three weeks after signing it, though?



There is no way on God's Earth that Agar quit this year or next. Why would he?

Not enjoyed Following Hull for 3 years now, losing doesn't hurt me as much as it should and I feel I'm just following them out of routine and habit. I hate the fact my passion for Hull is being sapped from me. I'll carry on regardless because that's just what I do but god I miss the love and pride I used to feel for Hull.
