with players like tandy, elford and even flanagan getting contracts are you telling me a fit tony wouldn't?

i cant see an nrl team taking a punt on a man who has played less than 10 games in two years...just my opinion......flanagan is a good prospect, one wests can work with....elford went back to his first club same as fitzhenry..

and tandy got a chance through injuries whilst playing reserve grade....

im not saying motu isnt/was a good player cus he is but its a big risk to offer a contract to a man who will be used to earning top $$$$......

That does sound bad but one of his spells out was for a freak insect bite or something wasnt it not any kind of reoccurring injury.

cant argue with the bite thing...BUT seriuos knee injuries dont go away with abit of savlon applied

I saw Motu a week last Monday at Ionians. Some of the squad were training together, but Motu (in his FC training gear) was jogging around the the main pitch on his own. He still has quite a noticable limp when he runs.

maybe he has the rest of his leg tattoo'd and he was running off the pain..

not sure how union is funded at that level, i mean they have no crowd to speak of, no tv money, yet attract a few overseas players. i assume its largely a part time thing
