If Seymour has a bad attitude I'd still not expect such a glaringly obvious slating from the chairman. It is unprofessional, whichever way you look at it.

It was a good reaction from the players last night, I expect that's more down to Gentle though.

I raised my eyebrows at the 2 new half back comments but on the other hand Pearson went out of his way to praise Seymour a couple of weeks earlier as a model pro coming over from Australia (while slating Mckinnon). We don't know whats been said to Seymour privately, perhaps they plan on rotating or playing him at LF (all the while when trying to swap him for Danny Brough).

Thats the problem. He needs to stay well away from the action so he can't f**k up.

He did, so he obviously doesn't have a bad attitude.

It's going to take a lot of money to pay him off I'd imagine, so who knows, he may have something already sorted.

I wouldn't have done it but I don't own the club and my investment isn't dependent upon success like Pearson's is. I suspect Seymour is already on his way and Pearson's context was based on that - ie talking about the future without Seymour rather than the present with him.
