So you don't think the club have brought Hall on as much as they could ? The facvt they play him in every position but the one he is preferred and have not in any way helped work on his weakenesses suggest to me he has not had the attention he should have.

That aside, I don't necessarily think we do need new centres. Yeaman, Turner and Whiting are all quite capable in that position. If a Gidley or a Lyon became available, then great. I think our priorities are halfback cover, a prop to replace Cusack and a winger if Calderwood is on his way.

Rubbish, he's had plenty of opportunities there.



How do you know they haven't tried?

I'd like to see Hall given a new contract, and only played at centre, if he can get in the team. Or, we make him a permanent winger, one or the other. Switching players around is not good IMO, I know you have to sometimes but as AA said, we are short of halfbacks and wingers. If Cusack does, personally, I don't think we need another prop, just switch a second rower (Lauaki) up there and be done with it. Moa has proven himself, play him first choice next year without fail. We could have O Meley, Moa, Dowes, Radford and Lauaki as props, that's good enough for me.
