Horne generally did well, although his error that lead to the Laithwaite try will overshadow everything else that he did tonight.



I wouldn't want McDonnell. He makes too many errors and isn't a player that would take us forwards.

Horne did ok, his kicks near the end showed his experience, his support play was poor though.



His mistake was never a try.

His knee again.

Briscoe showed he can cover there, great support play for the last try.

I'd give Briscoe a run at full back this season.Yes he's a great winger but I think he could be devastating given the freedom to roam and follow the forwards like Watts IMO.

Thought Horne grounded that ball with his forearm before Laithwaite touched it, tbh.



Briscoe never got tested at FB tonight, when Rovers bombed that try he had barely got past the posts!

I said this on twitter, Horne's forearm touched the ball first, no try for me. Either way Horne should have done better.

It did, it wasn't, and he should.

Thought Rich had a really solid game at FB tonight apart from the obvious brainfart.

Thank fook we won otherwise the cries for a public execution would have been deafening.

i know he had a Decentish game tonight, I still don't think he is good enough to be our FB next year, I think id rather get in a specialist FB

IIRC Tom B started out as a great centre but Agar bled him young and hence put him on the wing , and he's stayed there



If he played centre until aged 17 then he must be usedto causing havoc in the middle of the pitch more



More of a potential FB than a winger ? who knows ?
