Im not Agars biggest fan, but didnt think he got alot wrong today, to bring Lynn onto the wing today, would of shattered the kid, they would have peppered him all day, and his confidence would have been shot, (although Agars decision to name him was a strange one) thought the team today was excellent, the commitment and enthusiasm was there for all to see, Ganson ruined the game for me today, scoreline flattered Wire, it was alot closer game than the scoreboard suggsted! well played both teams

If you watched the game - which it appears you didin't - the option of bringing Lyne on was taken away because of the injuries to other players and particularly when he had to take Radford off earlier than planned. As soon as Radford came off I said to my pal, Lyne won't get a run-out now. When Radford came back on (using up another rotation) it was clear that Lyne definitelty wouldn'ty make an appearance. The game was well-coached and with a couple of bounces of the ball (whistle) the reult could have been different. |

We had Horne, Briscoe, Lauaki, Fitzgibbon and Calderwood out. Long was off for most of the match and I reckon we had the hardest Easter fixtures of the Super League, plus having Ganson to contend with, so all in all I don't think we could have asked for much more. If you asked me on Thursday, we could win only one match, I know which one I would have chosen.
Four points would have been good, but like I said I reckon we had the most difficult Easter fixtures.

For a start Liam Kent was out there warming up. I wouldn't have minded seeing him, and would have eased the pressures in the forwards. |
