Does say on HDM site that this weather will be the same most of next week too. Looks like the commute Mon-Thurs may be a nightmare too.

Just called the KC and they said absolutely yes the City v Chelsea game is definately on , there is no snow forecast for the area and should that be the case then so with RH testimonial as the club and council are going to constantly work on the surrounding areas with salt and de-icing agents till the cold snap is over.

so fingers crossed for no more snow.....albeit the pitch and seats are apparently under ginormous plastic sheets with hot air blowers going 24-7 so lets hope

We are forcast more snow til the end of next week with the coldest day meant to be Sunday 10th.

Snowing really heavy here in Hessle ATM.Carries on like this and it will definatley be off.

If it snows solidly for a week I'd say that will be the least of the problems.

At 16:00 nothing was flowing anywhere the city is at a compete standstill, a van has taken 45 minutes to move 200 meters.

If i were you and no traffic was flowing i'd go to the pub and make sure the ale is flowing!!

Snowed in a pub as always been my dream

Did you see the news on Monday where a few people had been snowed in a pub in North Yorkshire from new years eve til 4th? Would be awesome!!

Hubby just rang, he's been stuck on Ferensway for 45 mins, not moved at all. He said City centre totally conjested and no one moving anywhere
