long, there are certain players at fc who are quite simply past there best......i dont mean no disrespect, but rich horne is becoming a liability in my book......he had no influence on tonights game whatsoever yet he comandas big wages..kicks to teritorial touch??!!!! please, never ever been a kicker....now horne is a passer, no running, his sterngth is tackiling, and for a 6 thats bad indeed...

and what abiut fitz??!! great player that he was...and yes he played well this seasson, but the will be another year older next year and will we get a full season out of fitz?? im not too sure.....

Think fitzy will be fine played great again today . But agree about horney + long ,longy will be struggle keeping him fit if he's fit then not many better 7's but horney injury prone aswell how I would love us to have Rangi Chase at 6

Fitz was motm and Long and Horne made a huge difference to us and did well considering they have both been out for months.

Some people must have.....well let's say eyesight issues!

I can understand concerns with the long-term fitness of the said players.....I do too.

BUT! Horne played his first game in what 4/5 months??? Only the 5th with Long, and not consecutively. With all that in account, thought they gave a performance we have craved all season in their absence....combined in a 12 man energy sapping game, thought they gave us direction and fluidity.....

I think as fatigue sets in over 70 mins, errors do to!

They still provide a service Hull need and some teams would love.....when fit!!

im not denting that they played well last nite...what annoys me is that horne is commanding big money at fc, and is he giving value for money?? wether it be injury or form whatever....we are not getting value for money from him. simple as that...

I'm a massive fan of Horne. I think he's a great player and legend at Hull. But that was not his best game.

Great player and Legend? Not by a long shot, we're a club who have had our share of true legends and to describe him as such is an insult to them. A decent player and a good servant, who has been a peripheral figure in games for seasons now. There are very few no 6 in the league that I would not love to have instead of him.
