Why can't he run the ball in at full pelt? He takes the ball well and tackles well but for some reason he just stops when he is running it back.

He is he is taking the ball well and tackling well but he just cannot run the ball back well. He takes it runs uo to the defence does a little shuffle and gets tackled. The one time he ran it out with vigour was when he was behind the line and took it over the line.

Not a fullback IMO

because he HAD to get it over the line, a quick play the ball isn't as important there.

a quick ptb is not really important when a ref is not blowing for offsides either!!

everything else seems good to me Kosh, apart from i dont think he moves the defensive line enough, We looked vulnerable at times tonight when Bradford did venture wide. We again looked short in numbers when they got it wide, luckily the sliding defence worked better tonight.

Kick returns to me are the least of the factors that should constitute a fullback. i fear high kicks and his positional play. Would like to see Whiting at fullback for a good few game stint. Whiting is playing very well.

I'm surprised at that. In the games I've seen he's been good with kicks and shown excellent positional awareness. Maybe he's just in a bad run of form?
