I'm sure Ellis will go great for you next year, but you'll miss Manu, he's a cracking player.

Willie Manu over the years has put so many smiles on Hull fans faces and constantly left us in shock at the skill in which he just brushes tacklers off him. Absolutely brilliant player who I am glad to say has been at our club for quite a few years. He's one of a kind and in my eyes he's a Hull FC legend.

He will be sorely missed.

Massive thanks to Willie; a shining light amongst some pretty mediocre company over the last 5 years. Great to see the ovation given to him by the fans tonight; thoroughly deserved and good to see us wish him well. Irreplaceable.

Think the missus is more gutted than me mind

Willie wouldn't make my all time XIII (back row Lee Crookes Johnny Whiteley and Knocker) but he'd be fighting for a place on the bench with Mick Crane/Bill Drake/Steven Kearney.



Sorry to see him go but looking forward to 2012.

Kearney was no where near as good as Manu has been for us. Yes Kearney was only here a short time and not the same style as Manu. But Manu has been the better player.

Best off load I have seen to Yeaman in the good friday derby !!!
