Do find it quite telling that after a Dobbins win, it not only brings out Dobbins trolls, but FC posters who can?t wait to lavish praise.
Does anyone "lavish" praise?
Listen, I hate Rovers. I hate the derby, the banter, the hypocricy from both sets of supporters. I don't want both Hull clubs to be successful, just Hull FC. I want Rovers to lose every game they play.
However there is nothing wrong with acknowledging the fact that Rovers are a very good team. In the last three years or so they have gone from the bottom of the league to the top and are regular semi finalists and finalists. They have put together a very strong squad. When we were signing the likes of Evans, Pele, Okunbor, Tindall, Smith etc they were signing Hiku, May, Burgess, Davies, Batchelor, Whitbread. Sadly their long trophy drought is likely to end soon.
Hull's job is to put together a similarly strong squad and keep them fit. Then match Rovers on the pitch and go past them.
