I've been told by two people that we have spoken to his agent.


I don't expect any deal to be done yet, as I still think he wants to try and prove himself in the NRL.


I think we would be in a good position though, we have the money and for the first time in a while I think we could be an attractive proposition for players, looking at the players we have, the ones we have signed and our coach.

If happily sign Cross, think he is a better option than Briscoe short and long term. Add some pace to the backline.


Don't see many better options for next season without a quota spot, makes us stronger this season too.


Think we can all see now the way Sezer plays, Sneyd would have been a mistake to resign. Good signing for Warrington though.


Looks an absolute diaster at Sakford, best thing could do if reset, play in the championship for a year or two and rebuild like Rovers and Wakey did.

Also no one knows what and if that meeting happened.


At the time it looked like Salford where going to be ok, he is under contract, so he could have been rightly told by Salford he wasn't allowed to go.

Still think Cross is much more likely to end up at Leigh, Warrington or Saints. Macdonald Leigh or Rovers, Watkins will have his pick of anyone and be a free for all for him. 


If we do get anyone from Lafai would be my money. That’s if he wants to stick around still and not just go straight home to his family, which would be understandable given the circumstances and how they’ve been messed about. 

A lot will depend on if they offer quota dispensation.
