It's not really Mason's generally ability as a Prop that's in question. It's his repeated lazy,cheap shots and pointless head high ticklers that don't really hurt the target but give the opposition cheap yards. I'd not be too upset if he came back to Wakefield if he could cut out the dumb stuff.

Fozzard is very similar but does put a bit of effort into hurting the target.

A case of Dumb and Dumber I think.

I actually quite like Mason. Just think he could do a bit more taking on the line than he does. He's got a bit of mongrel in him, but a forward needs that.

Don't think that's the issue, he's an OK player - about the same as we already have so the more the merrier. What he isn't is this vastly superior being Boyd makes him out to be, he's far from that.

Have to disagree with some im afraid. Mason is a far better player than Korki, Amor and Higgins. I will reserve judgement on Hickey. Get rid of the clumsiness and he is not far from and England jumper.
