For me it was never going to work for a Wakefield team to be playing in Castleford, along with Castleford. As would it be daft for a Tigers team to be playing in a stadium close to Wakefield city centre. NM is an ideal position for a shared stadium in my opinion. Not far from Wakey, not far from Cas. Throw away all the spin, individuals perception of the affair and all that tripe i dont think it is a bad location for both teams. Either that or something Normy way on. I think a neutral supporter put something similar on the VT. I think it is funny for certain Castleford posters to say we were daft for not wanting to share at GH. They would not want to share at say Ossett or Thornes for example i doubt.

Exactly. I could see supporters drifting away from either club if they had to play home games in the others stadium. |

Answer to the OP - no, just a select few who in this instance, have chosen to defend the indefensible.
I would imagine that the majority of decent Cas fans would agree that RW's actions in this matter have been shameful.

The way i see it is that every club has its fair share of stupid fans even wakefield. Maybe some of the comments are due to the fact that if everything goes well at the p.i we could be in our ground in 18months time where as cas have been moving into theres since freeport now jct 32 was built about 10 or 11 years ago. Cas need to sell wheldon road or whatever its called now to fund the build whereas the funds for wakefields ground are available.
Is more a case of jealousy than stupidity - we will if all goes to plan be in our stadium before cas!!!
