Nature of averages. League in Australia has the pick of the athletes where as here its probably 4th or 5th down the list. The talent pool is so much bigger in Australia there is naturally going to be a greater number of superior players.

Not doubting that for a minute, but if a bigger tallent pool means quality players it also means there will be more people who are dross. Only got to look at chavball over here.
