Superb defence tonight. In the first half we got battered for long periods and over the course of the game saved many Wigan tries with try saving tackles on the last on our line. Well done all.

Also nice to see JD and Sam Obst down tonight, not sure if any other players were down but definitely saw those two..

Broughy was there too. He played for us last time we were in a Grand Final, at Headingley under John Harbin. We lost that day can still remember those Broughy tears.

Fantastic news got in from work at 9pm so missed it but it was great to hear JK getting it in live on sky that we had made the grand final with a win over Wigan

Maguire, Burrow, Diskin and Calderwood were definites that day, Walker aswell possibly and more? We definitely had Brough, Mason, Feather, Snitch and a few more who went on to play in Super League.



Remember it well and our lads gave their all that day and there was no shame in losing to that Leeds side. If we can have as many good players play for us in the future from the current crop then the future looks bright..



This team are much better than that Wakey team for me though and really deserve a real good turnout in the final.

If Wigan make the final, it could be a real belter especially if they drop there Reserve players into the team. Personally do not think Trinity will have any trouble beating the Wigan team that played yesterday in the final.



We could have played for another 6 hours and Wigan were never going to break that Trinity defence.

thought gibson was outstanding last night. all the lads deserve a pat on the back but if i was to pick a man of the match it would be gibson he was superb in defence. looks like he will be following in his fathers footsteps, carl gibson ex great britain winger. but well done lads.
