Typical Wakefield. Yesterday the shop said they would ask Jason today and get back to us as they have been called loads by people asking the same question.



So we ring back today and guess what? Jason came in but they forgot to ask. They helpfully suggested 'the first act might be 8.39 but they don't know'.



Brilliant.

at a guess i would suggest they will have the doors open for at least a hour before korky starts strutting to make way for latecomers

TBF this is the usual format for these events. The doors are opened in plenty of time for people to come, get a seat, have a drink and get their positions.



AFAIK the venue has been given for free / a very good rate - therefore thay have 'gambled' on making their money from the drinks bought.



So I think it a little unfair to be so negative on those people you consider not to be giving details and like everyone else attending this, as with any concert / event, you will need to 'gamble' on what you think may happen.



I wouldn't expect the main events to happen until 8.30/9.00 at the earliest myself - but it's not really my cup of tea, so I'm not going!

You're complaining because the club can't tell you exactly what time JD and co will be gettin their keks off?!

just to let you know, so you fully aware, the evening will consist off severall performances buy the guys as well as performances buy a local dance team. there will also be members of the audience taking part in 1 of the performances as well as the disco there wil be kareoke and raffle with excellent prizes.



for some 1 so optimistic, perhaps you should have waited to see what we call entertainment

ps please can every body note that this is not just a one strip routine. the night has been planned to keep every body entertained from the moment the doors open to the time the doors close so people will get value for there money have a good night and a laugh and get to see some of there players in another enviroment from the every day profession in other words in a diffrent light.... just please come on time relax and enjoy the night

I know it's the norm to not know whats happening so people buy drinks but my wife doesn't drink and it can be really boring sat for 2 hours or so.



Just bugged me that if you call nobody knows or does not want to let on despite advising they would.

Any ladies on here who didn't go along last night missed an absolute treat

Fabulous waiters at the venue too!! There was a car flag on each table and when you wanted a drink you just waved it and like magic a half dressed Wildcat appeared to get it for you





And their 3 performances were excellent

and, shall I say, VERY enjoyable!! The club photographer was there so look out for the photos on the official website.



Well done to everyone involved in organizing the evening.

I'll second that, a really good night out and the lads, Sue and everyone else had obviously put in a massive amount of effort. Some of them were understandably a little nervous, but the performances came across as being highly professional.



Great to see Semi there and glad he finally took his shirt off.
