Does squadbuilder still exist? Genuine question - I thought it had been abandonned for the Club 1873 scheme.



If you're looking for a charity to give the donation to, could I suggest Wakefield Hospice. They seem to have been well down on sponsorship for the last Sandal Castle 10k, and it's a very worthy local cause.

SB does still exist; it has the same 3 people on the committee as it did when it started and funds are used towards assisting the club with the signing and retention of young players.



Club 1873 is there to fund the whole of the Junior set-up - i.e. money goes to the coaches, education and all that goes with a modern Academy system. SB money is generally used in the more specific areas of helping to cover the costs of a players wages and expenses (travel etc).



This isn't a pitch for this money, but I thought I would let you know that SB is still in there!

now I know you have mentioned earlier in the thread if anyone had an idea of where we could donate the money from the predictions league, it had me thinking instead of the going to the squad builder could it not go to one of our own little supporters that has endured a difficult start to life as a Trin fan
