It appears its because of the delay in obtaining the Passport. Red tape appears to be the culprit this time.



On the subject of the delay. Virtually a year after application is a hell of a long time to wait.

Looking at the squad next season, Stosic would be a shoe in every week for me.



Who’s decided that he’s the one to go, before the likes of B.J, T.L.L & Korki?



Coming off the back of the Tax debacle, Brough’s will he / won’t he extend & J.K’s named mentioned to coach the national team, I’m getting really cheesed off.

If this is the case (and at the mo it's only hearsay) then the club should have waited for his passport to be approved before signing anymore oversea's players





Can the club not employ him in some other way until his passport is approved? Not sure if possible or allowed? But if he's been waiting a year already, then surely it can't be far away

like I said earlier what was he counted as last year? I thought he came off the quota but if he hasn't got this passport how can he have. Surely there's some sort of clarification whether he's been accepted or not and this could

be proven to the rfl. My only thinking is there isn't!!

Surely with korki only on loan he should really be the one to go imo, (or is he not quota as greek) if not then one of the new signings should go

people seem very quick to jump on the club on this one. whilst it might seem that they have been negligent on the face of it we do not know the ins and outs if this is indeed true (no reason to doubt it) and so should give em some slack until more info is forthcoming imo.

if it was as simple as binning off someone else instead i'm sure they would of done, if its his status thats the problem they were probably unable to do this

I suppose when you’re bending regulations to the limit chances are you will get caught out at some stage. Seems the club have be so this time. All the other overseas players must not have any problems with the documents so they have no reason to leave and the club would not doubt be challenged in the courts if they were to offload a player on those terms.



I’m glad the overseas contingent has been reduced but sad that it is Stosic who will be making way when Jeffries is in the squad.



Looking at it another way, his wage will prove very useful come January.

It needs to become usefull now if true. Losing probably your best prop were now down one. Needs replacing asap so they've got time to gel

I'll hold my hands up, when I first found out about this I jumped in feet first and put it all down to the club (probably due to some of the many shambles we've had over the years, admittedly we are improving vastly now). Having spoken to James he cannot have speak highly enough about the club and they have done their utmost to help him. It seems it is his status that is the underlying problem here so the club and James are behind the 8 ball so to speak.

true, just seems devastating losing the cornerstone of a good pack and leaving it short
