fantastic result. thought we should of kicked a couple that we played but great result. D. Jones showed how good he is, so did Rawlins hopefully they'll carry on all season.

Very impressive today, but better for the fact that we can improve in it.

Our forwards were running some beautiful lines.



In defence we were using fewer men than last season in tackles on much bigger men.



Danny Jones was superb today, James H and Dan Belcher worth a mention too.

Fantastic, I have a very sore throat from cheering the lads on today, this was my first live game this year having just returned from holiday and what a game it was!

We were bloody lucky

How can we have been lucky guesswho? It was a good all round performance from the Cougars

this afternoon,witch is more than i can say for the ref.

I bloody hope it was only luck , or it'll be twitchy bum time over here again this year

Yep the Ref was somewhat pedantic on occasions ..to the detriment of both teams ..not just in our favour.(.But ..James H's disallowed try ...what was that all about

??)



BUT we took our chances against what is an established Championship side that has changed little in its formation, after high flying in the table and subsequent play offs....



No one is disagreeing it was a fight to the final hooter ...but lucky ?? mon derriere ... we took our chances they didnt ...no luck involved



After last weeks 'less than fired ' display against the Panthers today was one we should be congratulating the lads (who do look on here) for not deriding their efforts as 'lucky'
