In terms of second rowers, Hock, Mossop and maybe even Hansen could all move to front row so don't count a player like Tuson or even the likes of Greg Burke and Jonny Walker out.

We have to put Gareth Hock to the back of our minds for 2011. He wont be returning till mid-season & it will take him at least a month IMO to get anything like up to match fitness, as well as fitting in with the structures of the team and also he will have to force his way in the side!

Give Tommy time at 9. He performed better at 9 than at 7 for NZ. Over time we'll all be saying how's he's a better 9 than 7, I strongly believe he can excel at hooker becoming one of the best in our game.



This season he's been rescued as a 7 by Sam and Deacon who can both organise a team, as did Barrett. Tommy's better making the darting runs as a live wire. Finch, Sam or Deacon will all be better in the halves driving the team around the park.



Personally I'd like to see Sam continue at FB (I do remember certain members on here slating me when I suggested it over a year ago) as for me he's the best FB in the league having a free role in attack linking up where he likes.



Finch at 6/7 it doesn't matter if we play split halves. with maybe Mellor working his way into the team as Deacon makes his way out.
