Quote Cherry.Pie="Cherry.Pie"I'd be more annoyed at the Arundel try that clearly wasn't grounded!! The Wigan players had a set to defend after the error by the touch judge, it didn't directly lead to Cas scoring points unlike the Arundel try.'"
Right lets clear this up
Joe Arundel grounded both tries. He did say the 2nd one barely touched the ground, BUT ... It Did!! He is a mate of mine, And wouldnt lie. He is an honest guy.
Which is why every single person bar the one that mattered knew that the Chase kick was 18 Inch out of the field of play. But thats not what cost you the game. Come off it if you think it did
You had an 18 point Lead at Half time, And definitely didnt deserve it, What with the good fortune on the 1st try, And the blatant crossing on another you really cant argue
As for the 2nd half, Your still miles in front in the game When Richards drops the ball, Add to that the superb tackles on O'Lock and Deacon, Then you will realise that Cas earned that decision from the Lino
As said, You were actually very fortunate to get anything from the game, Dicko left his studs at home, And on 2 occasions late in the 2nd half we JUST failed to reach grubber kicks. FWIW, Over the 80 minutes, I thought Cas were the better side.
Danny Orr was the best HB on the field, And the introduction of Chase made the difference in attack.
I however, Have no doubt you will make up for it in 3 weeks time.
