Magennis dropping like a sack of spuds after 1 clack removes the 'repeated' aspect of that one!

Magennis can't really be considered to be 'off guard' when Mossop hit him. He was swinging punches at anyone around him and was hit from the front. I'd consider that a situation where you'd be expecting a punch.

Seriously, are we watching a rugby league game or a game of football. Not one player should've seen red yesterday. They are playing rugby for gods sake - a contact sport that sometimes results in a bit of a scrap! Hock and LMS should've seen yellow and gone to cool off for 10 mins, as should Tuson and McGiness.



There is no way that Hock, LMS or Tuson should receive bans.... how many times have you seen fighting in a rugby game - they get 10 mins and nobody mentions it again.



McGunnes should get 1 game as he started the fight with Tuson by coming on the blind side, as should Mossop for throwing one VERY GOOD punch! Mossop should've stayed out of it (although i did love the punch!).



They are rugby players not fairies that play footy! Let's not let our sport go the same way as that by banning for a bit of handbags!

It should have been yellow cards for 4 players and that should have been it - with only MGennis and Mossop worthy of a closer look by the RFL.



Of the two although Mossop shoudn't have done it - it did seem the only way to stop Mgennis as he was throwing haymakers at anyone in reach - not sure the rflwill see that as an act of peace though!.



If every front rower was banned for a few punches at a scrum (of which none of Hocks seem to make any contact) there would hardly be any on the field.

So our pack ends up decimated for the next game at least, if not more. Saints lose a bit part player who no-one had heard of prior to yesterday anyway and will more than likely fall back into obscurity from hereon in. Meanwhile, the instigator walks away scot free.

I personally think Mossop should get one game. Hock should be sending off sufficient. Tuson should get 1 games... and the scumbag should get 8+. Just my opinion

Mossop should take the early plea, hasn't got a hope in hell of winning that one.

Looking at it:



Mossop takes the early guilty plea - misses Leeds but back for Catalans.

Hock - pled guilty with provocation and given he was actually sent off hope he just gets one game so back for Catalans.

Tuson is looking at 2 given he was sent off.



So Hughes, Crosby and Spencer into the 17 for Friday.
