| Pryce has a heart the size of a pea, which is why he'll never make it.
I can only think the charlie is being passed around to those who decided Pryce was worthy of a new contract.

| Quote Chris Saint="Chris Saint":29ualw70Serious question here - why has he not played more this year?
I know he was injured, deregistered, kept off the SC in 2008 but he started in the friendlies at the begining on 2009 and then has hardly played since...
If injured fair enough (though that would be a concern in itself) but if fit and just not good enough then why take the risk of another contract - when you could promote more youth or use his contract elsewhere in the squad.'" .
The comments i've heard about him is that when he appears in the game he stands out, but still seems to look his lazy self. I think that's probably just the aura he gives off though, i personally think when he has been in the first team he hasn't done too badly.
There was the one game, can't remember who against at the start of this year, where he had ainscough outside of him, got the ball a reasonable amount but then threw passes into touch because Ainscough had overrun/pass was too far behind, but he looked as if given match practice he could be a v good sl centre.
Definately worth another year, even if to just give him a run in the first team after he's had a lot of reserve matches under his belt. I can also see him getting a run in the team further towards the end of this season if we aren't any closer to getting in the playoffs.

| Karl Pryce is to Rugby League as what Audley Harrison is to Boxing.
Looks the fooking business, but as Wigan/Leeds Andy says 'Heart the size of a pea', and that's something you cannot coach.
I would love to be proved wrong next season.

| Quote thepriestman85="thepriestman85"A mixture of fitness, injuries, lack of form and Gleeson/Ainscough.
He’s been doing well in the reserves but with Gleeson coming in his opps were limited at centre and with the outstanding form of Ainscough it meant if one of our back three got injured Shaun was the first one to be called up.
Defiantly worth a punt for next season as we’ve put so much into his recovery it would be stupid to let him go now.
I still think he’d be amazing at somewhere like Saints with his brother.'"
Absolutely, we might as well stick with him, we've no doubt put a lot of time and effort into him, and hopefully it'll come to fruition, and will have a good player on are hands.

| I have been to all of the reserve games at Orrell and Pryce has been playing regularly for them and performing quite well although doesn't seem to exploit his size as he should (confidence issue?). He also has scored a fair few tries even before the last match. He has been used quite a few times at stand off in these games so maybe he is being given a run in the reserves either to help his fitness (looked a problem when in the first team) or to let him be tried in and to adapt to a possible new position. Could also be a combination of both but having seen how he is being used I think these are two likely explanations. From what I have seen he is worthy of the extension as he has been improving through the season despite what some people who spend all game shouting abuse at him seem to think. If he can keep improving and start to use his size more he could be very effective for us.

| It was stated that Karl Pryce was a long-term investment and hopefully he can cement a first team place in the next year.

| Quote jonh="jonh"Good news in my opinion. Needs to make a real impact next year when he gets a chance though to be considered worthy of another deal.

| Way to go Lenegan...kick us all when we are down!
Pryce is a donkey...no speed, no power, no enthusiasm, nada.
Is anyone else getting slightly annoyed at the penny pinching antics of our Chairman and all the "bargains" he likes to sign?

| Performance reflects leadership.
A good coach would sort Pryce out.
