On the guardian website it says it's a non story but Sale are looking at him for next season. Mind you in the same article it says that Long is coming back to play for saints this year once Eastmond is sacked.

I like that quote. A Sharks spokesman confirmed "they'd be interested in signing him".
Yeah, them and the rest of the world.
We need to sign Paddy on again, and let Union take him when he's 38. He'll still be good for another 10 years in that game. |

I expect that once Pat proves he is over his injury, a new 2-3 year deal will be waiting for him.
IL, clearly, is no mug. He wont let a possession as prized as Pat leave easily.

| I wrote a comment to the MEN website that IMHO Richards wouldn't be playing for Sale because if he needs match practice due to his long term injury, he wouldn't get any playing Union, as they prefer their rucks and mauls and kicking into touch.
And that wasn't Richards style of play.
The MEN didn't publish my comment.  |
