Watching the 20's grand final this year Logan looks to be getting on in the game on pretty much name alone. Is that harsh? Maybe but when I see a hooker with not much pace, who's not the biggest or strongest and who's passing isn't great I can't help but feel he's fighting a losing battle.
Hopefully he'll prove my eyes aren't all that.

| If the Widnes dangerman is Ah Van they're in for one hell of a long season which to be fair is probably the case.

| Dudson, Mossop and Hock - looking forward to seeing a lot of power from our pack next season. A bit wary of expecting too much, too soon from Dudson, but he's a big unit!

| Harrison Hansen will take the next step and establish himself as a real top class second row next season.

Think we must have watched different grand final I do think that is a bit harsh, his passing is good, he gets the team around the pitch well and tops the tackle count every week. Not the fastest but still is possible to play at the highest level at 9 without electric pace. Needs to kick on a bit this year but wouldnt be suprised if he did. Rogues comments are interesting ( and yes i watch the u18s and 20s games ) , Carberry is a big strong lad but his distribution and organisational skills are awful, his strength is his scooting. The fact that he gets very little game time when Tomkins plays shows how they compare the two. A lad with a future probably but not convinced it will be at hooker with wigan. I recall rogues being particularly keen on Sam Gee being given a run in the first team a couple of years ago, think he plays for Wigan RU now.

| I believe Paul Prescott will kick on to become a top class prop forward this year, closely followed by the ever improving Lee Mossop.

no i dont...but correct me if im wrong.
isnt Logan MMs back up?
if so...hes got to step up to the plate...thats why im thinking he'll get game time.
im not advocating that he'll make it..but its the only way we'll find out......hence thats the player im interested in...as the title suggests?

Hope your right.
To judge anyone off 1 or 2 performances is harsh but he hasn't stood out in the games I've seen.
Hopefully we'll see him kick on and become the next top class Tomkins in our side.
