Back to the topic though, good move for mossop and wigan. I don't think we'd have taken him away from first team action at barrow if we didnt have assurances that he was going to play regular first team stuff. We aint that stupid

Im glad he has gone out on loan to a SL club, but I hope that he gets some first team action as its a wasted move if he just ends up playing in their reserves, because he could do this here.



He is a great prospect and a player that has a really exciting future. We wouldnt be stupid enough to let him go permanently.

Maybe that a clause Wigan put in their loan contracts.



It's defo not a rule regarding every loan deal as you point out with Ste Tyrer.

Why are we sending players out on loan to clubs who are higher up the league than us?



Our league postition tells me that the players Huddersfield have are already superior to what we have, so surely the lad should be in our 17 each week?

Maybe they want a merger through the back door and as soon as they get a full 19 from Wigan they can call themselves Wiganfield

You could argue Bailey, but Hansen and Joel might have something to say about that.



It's not as simple as you suggest. We have a wealth of backrowers. Even Hansen and Joel are not guaranteed first team action each week, and that's good because it's a sign that we have a competitive squad. Pitch Mossop in there as well and maybe you're asking too much of him.



If Huddersfield think they can accommodate him more readily, all well and good. Just because they're higher up the league, it's not a given that their 11-13 are better than ours. In fact, I'd argue that they aren't. I'd argue there are few back rows in the comp as good as ours (or at least with as many decent players vying for three positions).
